A native of Lafayette, April graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She recieved her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. While attending law school, April took part in The Civil Law Clinic where she gained hands- on experience counseling clients in the areas concerning child support, custody, spousal support, and paternity. April also interned with Butler & Hosch, P.A., a firm that services the Mortgage Banking Industry. April has broad experience in trial prep work and in representing clients in open court. Before working with the Brouillette Law Firm, April worked at Sexton & Hebert in Baton Rouge, where her primary practice was commercial construction litigation law. April also worked at Brazee & McCormick in Lafayette, a general practice law firm.
April enjoys spending time with her family as well as fishing, camping, cooking. April is an active member of The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the Coastal Conservation Association, among other things.
