Mr. Brouillette, a native of Marksville, Louisiana has practiced law since 1994 in  Baton Rouge. Mr. Brouillette graduated from Louisiana State University, Magna Cum Laude and received his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Law as a Robert Tullis finalist and an award winner in the Appellate Advocacy competition. Between degrees at LSU Mr. Brouillette attended Southern University with a concentration in Jazz studies.

The Derbes & Brouillette Law Firm was originally founded by Mr. Brouillette and Richard Derbes in 1995, and in 2007 became the Brouillette Law Firm.

The Brouillette family name has a long standing history of legal excellence beginning with Mr. Brouillette’s father, former District Court Judge Harold Brouillette, appointed by the Louisiana Supreme court to fill an Appellate Judgeship vacancy, and a frequent contributor of law revisions from the Louisiana State Law Institute of which he has been a long standing member.

The firm is located at 3999 South Sherwood Forest Blvd. in Baton Rouge. From this ten thousand square foot office our work is coordinated throughout the state of Louisiana. Most of the organization’s key people have been on staff for more than a decade.
